ONE SHARED FOUNDATION

Built from the
inside out.

AythurOS is developing a native core operating system rather than repackaging Linux or FreeBSD. Aether and Void share the mechanisms that make sense to share—and shape their own product experiences above them.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

One platform.
Many possibilities.

Different responsibilities, clearly separated. This is a conceptual architecture, not a claim that every interface has reached production maturity.

01 / STARTUP

Boot

A shared native boot boundary for securely transferring control to the system.

02 / CORE

Kernel

The independently engineered kernel that both native products consume.

03 / USERSPACE

Runtime & Vigil

Native execution, service lifecycle and carefully defined boundaries.

04 / EXPERIENCE

Flow & Eon

A shared graphical environment and native package-management direction.

OPEN TO INTEROPERABILITY

Native does not mean isolated.

Portability and compatibility are intentional goals, not an excuse to replace ownership boundaries. Work on Linux-hosted developer tooling does not make Aether or Void Linux distributions.
